Wii U

As a Nintendo fan i'm at a 50/50 about the Wii U, seems good but also looks like it has a great chance to flop, any other points of view on it?

It will be pretty much on par with the Playstation 3 in terms of power of the hardware, but i think its too little too late.. This is only going to be as powerful as current generation systems (360/PS3) and with the new Sony / Microsoft systems slated for around a 2014 release you really have to wonder why Nintendo is even doing this.

Once again the controller makes it gimmicky, so a lot of people will buy it.. But with Sony/Microsofts new systems on the horizon i dont see the point in buying the Wii U unfortunately.

Yeah its pretty much nothing more then just a HD update and new controller, same system

Nintendo is about to go back to the N64 era for a few years again....

I really don't see anything spectacular about the system and what I hate the most is that use technology with idiotic limitations. If nintendo support third party publishers the Wii could have had a longer lifespan.... but nooooo.. One day nintendo will go back to making card games.

Yeah Nintendo needs third party support or they will be the next Sega real fast. Zelda does interest me, but not enough to buy an entire system for it.
